Bear
Senior | Male | Adopted
One day 4-year-old Bear had a family and then he didn't. Sadly, his owner passed away and sweet Bear wound up at a high kill shelter. Fortunately, one of the shelter volunteers saw that Bear wasn't going to make it out without rescue help and started to network on his behalf. Before arriving at OBG, he was in a temporary foster home where he reportedly did well with the resident dogs and cats.
Bear is currently living in a foster home with two other dogs and he is an absolute dream to be around. He is comfortable in a crate, a perfect gentleman in the house, happy, and loves to play with the other dogs or by himself. He really enjoys going for walks and is very good on a leash. So far he has not met a stranger he can’t win over and is happy to encourage everyone he meets to give him a quick belly rub.
He is quite the cuddlier and is happy to just snuggle up with you or participate in whatever activity you may be doing. He just likes being with people. Bear will be at some of the upcoming Virginia adoption shows and would love to meet and have you rub his belly for a minute. Please contact his foster family if you would like any additional information about this very special dog.
