Please welcome back Charlie to OBG!  Charlie is 13 years young but oh-so-sweet!  Charlie was tearfully surrendered by his loving owner after a fall one night that left the owner unable to care for Charlie.  Charlie is actually somewhat of a hero.  We were told that Charlie’s mom fell outside in the backyard and was unconscious for an undetermined amount of time.  He stayed with her through the night and then went to find help on Sunday morning.  Luckily his tag led the police to his home where they found his owner on the floor.  Charlie literally saved his mom’s life but sadly now finds himself in the need of being rescued for a second time (Charlie was with OBG in 2011 when he was saved from a puppy mill and adopted to a great home).

Charlie gets along with other dogs, ignores cats and loves his people.  He walks great on a leash, loves going on walks, LOVES going for car rides and is housebroken.   He is overall very healthy but is deaf and from time to time may have episodes of vertigo which he happily takes daily inexpensive medication.  He has the typical cocker traits like wanting to be on your lap or at your feet at all times. He loves to be loved and has simple needs – to be loved, to be taken care of and to feel safe and sound at a new welcoming home.

If you think you have room in your heart and home for this sweet deserving senior boy, please contact his foster at the link below.
