Tasha
Young | Female | Adopted
Please welcome Tasha! Tasha is 7 years old, weighs 38 pounds and has an adorable docked tail. We're told she has some Bassett hound genes in her which makes her a very unique cocker spaniel mix. No doubt she'll be easy to spot at an adoption show full of curly cockers!
This girl has lived with other dogs and cats, and is enjoying the company of the other foster dogs at her foster mom's home. When meeting new people, Tasha can be tentative and needs some time to get to know them. She likes both men and women but seems to gravitate toward men. Her previous home had kids and Tasha gets along well with them as long as the kids are older and respectful of her. Kids ages 8 and older are usually best for most dogs. Tasha has made herself at home at her foster mom's house and hangs out in the kitchen and family room with her brothers and sisters when her foster mom is at work. Tasha does not use a crate and is not crate trained. She is a smart dog, knows her name, and tells her foster mom when she needs to do her business.
Tasha walks to the glass sliding door and waits to be let outside
. At night, she sleeps on the sofa in the family room.
Tasha also knows how to walk on leash and but probably could benefit from a refresher course. She has a medium energy level and would do well with a family with older kids and an additional playful dog to hang out with. Does Tasha sound like a dog you would love to spend your time with? If so, please inquire about this sweetheart today!
