Blaze

The award for best makeover for an OBG pup goes to.......BLAZE!  Blaze is a 2'ish year old, 23# energetic black and white merle cocker spaniel looking for an active home.  Blaze was found as a stray in rural Virginia.  His owners didn't claim him, so he hopped a ride to OBG.  

Blaze was a flea ridden, matted mess upon arrival.  His mats so covered his entire little body that we thought he only had a blaze of white!  However, Blaze transformed into a beautiful merle coloring after his much needed groom.  

Blaze's foster mom raves about him.  He is house-trained and has free-run when no one is home.  He sleeps in the human bed with his foster mom and other dogs at night.  His favorite things are food (but he is not food-aggressive) and his fenced-in yard (he requires a home with a securely fenced in yard since he loves it so much).  He knows "sit" and "high five" and is as sweet as they come.
