Boo

Hi everyone, I hope it doesn't scare you but my name is Boo!  I am anything but scary though...I simply made my way to rescue at Halloween...and I want to be your Boo!  As you'll see in my pictures, I am nothing but a cute and curly cockapoo with a striking white blaze down my face.  I know you'll find it hard to believe but I was found as a stray.  I am about 6 years old.

I am awesome (if I do say so myself)!  I am very sweet and happy and get along wonderfully with other dogs.  I tip the scales at 33 pounds, am housebroken and tons of fun.  Unfortunately I need some fixin' up before I'll be feeling my best because I tested heartworm positive.  Also, I broke my leg but it's healing up nicely while being treated with a splint.  In spite of this, I'm nothing but positive because I know better days are around the corner since I'm getting the medical attention I need. 

I'm looking for a forever home where I can be kept calm and quiet during the next 6o days during my heartworm treatment, however I do not need strict crate rest - I only need that when you're gone.  When you are at home with me, I can be kept calm outside of the crate as long as there is no running, jumping, etc.  This will make my time of healing much more bearable!  I also need weekly bandage changes at the vet until my leg is a-okay.
