Fudge

Craving a sweet treat?  Meet Fudge!  No, he's not edible, but he is sweet as can be!  Fudge is a ~5 year-old boy, who came to us as a stray from West Virginia.  Fudge weighed in at 32 lbs (he needs to lose a few pounds).  Everyone who meets him says that Fudge is super sweet and will crawl in your lap to get love and kisses.

We have mentioned how cuddly Fudge is, but he also has a wild side (people say he does not act like a 5 year old).  He is obsessed with tennis balls and likes to carry one around at all times.  He will play fetch from dawn until dusk.  A fenced-in yard is a must for this happy fellow (no e-fences).  Fudge can get a little possessive of his balls with other dogs, but he is great with people.

Fudge does not have any health issues except for dry eye, so he gets his eye drops twice a day.  He is working hard on his house-training skills.  He wants to be able to impress his new family.

Fudge requests being the only dog in his new home.  Other dogs make him uncomfortable.  You can walk him down the street without any reaction if you keep your distance, but if you let the other dog get too close, Fudge will growl and perhaps lunge.
