Chase

Hi, there!  My name is Chase, as in, I like to chase down balls and sticks at mach speed!  I'm approximately 3 years old and weigh 20#.  I have a white blaze on my chest and eyelashes almost 2 inches long.  The photos don't do me justice.  :)

My favorite things in this world are giving kisses to my family, playing with my tennis balls, going for walks, and chewing on marrow bones.  I'm super sensitive and eager to please.  I know some cues, such as sit.  My foster mommy thinks my real name should be Shadow, because I love to follow her around the house.  

Overall, I am in good health.  I am working hard on my house-training.  I can't hear out of my right ear, but that doesn’t stop me from figuring out where the squeak is coming from.  I definitely know my name and come when called.  I likely have allergies (which is what led to my ear problem), so I eat a grain-free diet.  I'm shy with new people, but if they feed me yummy treats or show me that they like to play ball, I warm up to them.  My ideal home would be one with an experienced owner and humans over the age of 12y.  I would love a patient and nurturing person to help me build confidence.
