Brownie

Beautiful Brownie has arrived and we are sure she won't be around for long!  Brownie is 4 years old and 30.5 pounds with beautiful reddish brown fur.  Brownie was an owner turn in to a VA shelter because she was nervous around visiting kids in the home; therefore, no children for Brownie in her forever home.

Brownie is super sweet and she knows her name.  She has not had a single accident in her foster home - who doesn't love that?  Brownie offers a "sit" and "paw" frequently, and she takes treats gently.  While Brownie isn't a classic snuggler, she loves being near her person.  She walks pretty well on a leash until something gets her excited.  She seems quite smart and willing to please, so she would likely be pretty easy to train.  Her foster mom has yet to hear her bark.

Brownie has met a couple of other dogs, and she quietly curls her lip when they approach.  She'll sit down if they try to sniff her.  At this point, we think that Brownie would love to be an only dog in her forever home.  She is reported to get along with cats, though she has not met any since coming to OBG.
