Angel

Meet our sweet little Angel.  Angel is approximately 8 years old and weighs 25 pounds.  Her heritage is a mystery.  She looks a little like a sheltie, and her foster mom says she has the coat of a corgi.  Angel came to us after being rescued from a hoarding situation with 50 other dogs.  While Angel is understandably timid, she is sweet, sweet, sweet to everyone. 

Angel LOVES other dogs.  High on her list of needs is a dog of similar size who will play with her.  She seems to enjoy running around the yard.  She also will curl up next to a resting dog, particularly if the dog is somewhere soft - like on a sofa.  In fact, Angel will even curl up next to her fosters when they are on the sofa.  

Angel would very much enjoy a yard, as going out in the real world can be stressful for her.  She is gaining confidence and doing new things each day.  For example, she recently joined her foster parents in their bed at night.  When a visitor came over, it only took her about 15 minutes to warm up to the new person.  Treats really help that process.

Angel is house-trained.  Her foster parents haven't observed any aggression from her at all.  They say she is a really nice, really cute little dog.
