Hi.  I am Melanie, and I was lost for a year, living on the streets, eating whatever I could find until neighbors turned me to Animal Control.  I am so happy to be with OBG Cocker Rescue now!  YAY me.  I am looking forward to my new forever home now that I'm in a fabulous foster home.

After a few regular wholesome meals, a nice bath, and some vet care, I can tell you I felt and looked like a whole different doggie!   I am around 8'ish years old with white with tan markings, and around 20 pounds.  Unfortunately, I tested positive for heart worms so will need life saving expensive treatment over the next 90 days but I am expected to make a full recovery.  OBG Cocker Rescue covers the cost of the treatment with the help of wonderful donors!  I also have a heart murmur, but I don't need any medications.

I am doing great in my foster home and enjoy the company of doggies and kitties too!  I love people and lots of loving too.  I walk well on the leash and am very quiet in the car.  I'm quite the catch!  I am likely housebroken and just need a refresher.  Although I haven't been around children, I think I would be fine with children over 8 years of age.
