Buffy is a sweet, adorable 12 year old cockapoo, 90% cocker spaniel according to her vet. She looks like Lady from Lady and the Tramp and will melt you when she tilts her head and looks at you. She is in good health for a 12 year old and doesn't look 12 so she has been told. She has some separation anxiety which her vet has her on a low dose of Clomicalm for so perhaps a retired person looking for a loving, caring, faithful companion would be a great match for her. Buffy absolutely loves people. She is great with babies, kids of all ages and has been that way since she was a puppy. She loves all people, if you come into her home she will be sure to show you how much she loves you by wagging her tiny little stub tail and following you around until you pet her. She will also get in your lap and just sit (if you let her). She has never needed a leash to go out to potty but be careful if the mailman or delivery man comes by and pays her attention, she will try to go with them because she loves car rides as well. She loves tennis balls and her favorite thing to do is to sit at the top of the steps and have the ball thrown to her so she can catch it in her mouth and then push it back to you! She is so smart, you say push the ball anytime she is playing and she does, you ask her to give you her paw while holding a treat and she is more than happy to obey. She is happiest when there are lots of people around and loves it if she can get someone to play ball with her or just sit on someone's lap. She is definitely a lap dog and also enjoys sleeping right next to you at night. If you are not feeling well, she will just lay by your side until you are feeling better watching over you. Buffy has been around a cat while visiting someone's house and ignored the cat and decided to try out the cat's food. She is primarily a house dog but on walks when she meets another dog, she just sniffs and is curious but well behaved. She has been groomed on a regular basis and according to her groomer does well with the process. She also does well while giving her a bath at home. Buffy does not like fireworks, thunderstorms or really loud noises and she tried the pool but wasn't a fan. She loves the snow and her favorite game in the snow is to hide the ball and then dig in the snow to find it.   I am a great companion ready to meet you and show you just how special I am!
